ITALERI PLASTIC MODEL SHIP KIT
This landing craft was used extensively by US and British navies during the Second World War to transport wheeled vehicles, lightweight armor and materials (weighing up to 30 tons) from ship to shore. Over 8000 LCM model 3 landing craft were produced, being built in numerous shipyards in the United States from 1942 up to the end of the war. Western allies of the United States up until the 1980s would later use it. Includes decals for LCM 81 of Normandy France, 6th June 1944 and a LCM of Iwo Jima, February 1945.

After several years of construction, the Nimitz was launched as the second nuclear aircraft carrier of the US Navy in 1972. With a maximum displacement of 94400ts, she is the world's biggest warship. She not oniy'has room for a crew of over 6000 men, but for about 1 00 aircraft as well, among which there are reconnaissance and cargo planes for the supply. The defence power of the Nimitz consists mainly of radar controlled eightfold trench mortars type Sea Sparrow and of catapults.
